Origin of Dubai 

The first mention of the Dubai region dates back to 1095 in the Andalusian-Arab geographer Abu Abdullah al Bakri’s Book of Geography. By the late 1500s, Dubai was known by traders and merchants for its pearl industry. The significant boom in the history of Dubai dates to the 19th century. In the early 19th century, it was officially established. When oil was discovered in 1966, Sheikh Rashid utilized the oil revenues in building one of the greatest city in this world. Burj Al Arab is the only hotel in the world with a 7-star rating. It is said to be the most luxurious hotel in the world. Their cheapest room goes up to 1000 euro per night. A striking 1,790 sq. The famous Palms Jumeirah, the palm tree-shaped island is the largest human-made islands in the world and is visible from space. The construction of artificial palm islands in Dubai needed 94 million cubic meters of sand, which is equivalent to filling 2.5 empire state buildings. Palm Islands are combination of three artificial islands, Palm Jumeirah, Deira Island, and Palm Jebel Ali, on the coast of Dubai. These islands take the form of a palm tree, topped by a crescent. Each of this island will be host to a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centers and will add a total of 520 kilometers (323 miles) of non-public beaches to the city of Dubai.

The Dubai Miracle Garden is a flower garden located in Dubai. It is the world’s largest natural flower garden. The garden was launched on Valentine’s Day in 2013. The garden occupies over 72,000 square meters (780,000 square feet), making it the world’s most visited natural flower garden.

Majestic Dubai Fountain

The Dubai Fountain is the world’s largest choreographed fountain system in the world. It is set on the 12 hectares or 30 acres of man-made Burj Khalifa Lake. The fountain is illuminated by 6,600 lights and more than 25 colored projectors. The fountain is 275 m or 902 ft long and can shoot water up to the height of 150 meters or 500 feet. Its majestic show is accompained by a range of classical to contemporary Arabic and world music. People can also dedicate songs to their special ones with magical water performance. It was built at a cost of USD $218 million.
